Economist by training, executive by vocation. I have led companies through growth, post-M&A integration, professionalisation and sale processes, always with P&L, teams and shareholders behind every decision.
My name is Agustí Roig. I am an economist by training and an executive by vocation, with over 28 years of executive experience in family business, growth, integration and general management. My career has been built primarily in the agri-food and consumer goods sector.
My career began in the family business. My father founded Ous Roig in Tortosa, and I joined at the bottom, working my way through very different areas of the business: production, nutrition, sales, marketing, finance and general management.
That experience defines how I understand business. Not from theory or from a single function, but from the full reality of the business: operations, the factory, the product, the customer, the team, the brand, the income statement and the ownership.
In 2011 I took over as CEO of Ous Roig. Over the following years I led a period of growth and consolidation of the company as the benchmark brand in the Catalan fresh egg market, reaching a 30% penetration share in Catalonia.
One of the most significant projects was Gallinas Felices: the pioneering decision in Spain to abandon cage production before the market demanded it. In 2021 I led the sale of the company to an international group.
In 2022 I took over the leadership of HEVO Group, a project born from the integration of five companies in the sector. The challenge was not just to grow, but to build a common organisation from businesses with different histories, cultures, teams and models.
After closing that executive chapter, I decided to put that experience at the service of owners, executives and governing bodies facing relevant decisions for the future of their businesses.
There are moments when the person leading a business needs more than external analysis. They need to test decisions with someone who has lived through similar situations, who understands the pressure of deciding, and who can offer an independent, direct and useful perspective.
ARVUM is born of that experience. Of having been on the inside. It is not a proposition built from theory. It is leadership judgement from experience.
I bring an unusual combination of operational experience, strategic vision and understanding of the reality of both the owner and the CEO.
I have negotiated with major customers, developed brands in consumer markets, managed post-M&A integrations, navigated crisis situations, worked on financing and refinancing, aligned management teams and participated in corporate transactions from positions of responsibility.
Most of this experience has been built in the agri-food and consumer goods sectors, where I have depth, a strong network and direct business experience. But the value I bring is not limited to one sector: it is executive judgement applied to decisions involving growth, professionalisation, integration, governance, succession, financing or strategic change. These are decisions that many family-owned and mid-sized companies face when they enter a significant stage of development.
